  : Staff were friendly, kept the kitchen open for us as we were.running late. Good food and a very large breakfast .

  : We have travelled the world for the past decade on booking.com (currently we are Genius level 2), VRBO, airbnb, and hotels, and we can honestly say the experience with the Mounts Bay Inn has been the WORST. We arrived at the check-in time, and the rooms looked nothing like the online photos presented them. Simply put it was unsafe to stay there, and we are reporting them to the tourist board and Cornwall County Council. The walls were falling apart with black mould, there were stains on the pillow. See the photos, it truly was sickening. We immediately tried to call the property owner but were told she was unavailable. We were forced to leave and find alternate accommodation at a late hour, which was very difficult and expensive. Since then, we have been trying to get a refund. The manager Rosie agreed in writing to do this, but then stopped responding since March 27 (it's now April 9). We have received confirmation from booking.com that she has not processed the refund with them, despite having promised to do this. Put simply, DO NOT STAY here! This is an unhealthy environment where the staff does not commit to their own promises made in writing.

  : the room was clean and comfortable
  : far far too noisy with music blaring out until midnight. the food was terrible (inedible At dinner service) and as much as the breakfast guy was kind and attentive after 5 times of asking for our order and still getting it wrong it was a little waring!as i say he was very kind but clearly something not right with the service (I dont wish to elaborate)
