  : Charming and special place.
  : I did not think the host Kris was very hospitable and curteous, which took away from the amazing location and house. Management is strict with the breakfast hours, which I can respect, but we kindly asked to save breakfast for us for a few minutes. We showed up 5 minutes late after the breakfast hours having gotten lost on a trail, and were refused breakfast. For a B&B where both owners and staff are around, we expected more flexibility and understanding, especially as we had travelled from far and had arrived late the previous evening after restaurants in the area closed, and we hadn't eaten in a long time. Could have been more flexible for a B&B, especially as the B is part of the core offering. We were going to extend an extra night since the property is so beautiful, but left immediately as we felt the the host wasn't genuinely friendly or compassionate. The place is 95% beautifully decorated and renovated, but there are small fixes like the stains on the sink or the bathroom wooden cabinets that could be improved as they look quite run down compared to the rest of the facilities.

  : Very friendly B&B serving a wonderful breakfast. Eating breakfast served on the verandah overlooking mt Shasta was very nice. Nice, large rooms with comfortable beds.Great location close to but just out of town.
  : Although it wasn't an issue, the price bracket this room was in is one that would usually be expected to have a private bathroom.

  : Owner was very welcoming and beautiful yard! Breakfast was delicious with a great view of Mt Shasta.
  : It was very unfortunate that we got 0 sleep due to the other guest going up and down the stairs middle of the night (you can hear since house is pretty old) Bed was bit uncomfortable as well. Also some of the towel had a stain and shared shower was extremely dirty.

  : Breakfast was fantastic and prepared on the premises. Loved the hot sauce selection! The location is very convenient and has a beautiful view of Mount Shasta and close to all the good trails.

  : The breakfasts were outstanding as were the hosts on the property. Very attentive to needs and friendly. We liked the historical background given about the ranch and the yummy cookies baked for us each day. We toured the main house and the rooms located in that building and wished that we had been able to book a room in the main building because the carriage house left much to be desired in regards to the bathrooms!
  : Definitely the bathrooms in the carriage house need renovation from what seems like their original sink/showers in the one bathroom were gross. The other bathroom was slightly more acceptable where I felt I could at least take a shower (with flip flops on!)...Our bedroom was fine, but the shared bathrooms need attention!

  : One thing I have to mention is the breakfast is so good and they have a lovely puppy. The hotel is remodelled from an ancient house so rooms are on the same level and really close to each other but noise is managable.
