  : Having visited La Marjolaine many times in the past though not for the past 4 years due to illness and the Pandemic we found it just as we expected it to be and enjoyed our stay there as much as we had always done in the past. The location , the facilities, the service and the food were very good as they always have been. We look forward to our next visit

  : The breakfast was very good. A good selection of juice and plenty of choice from cereal to fresh fruit.

  : beautiful property and grounds,easy to find,mostly polite staff.
  : .Although room was comfortable with extra large bed it lacked character,the so called mini bar which was just fridge which was not even on so water inside was warm. Room would have benefited from having a small table and chaires outside French doors, also no ventilation in room causing it to be very stuffy. coffee making facilities were inadequate.Restaurant menu was very limited with no vegetarian options which ment we had to eat elsewhere during our 2night stay.

  : Friendly staff and lovely location. A few metres from the river with lovely walks. Peaceful countryside setting. Meals served outside on the terrace in good weather and, if the weather wasn't so good, in a nicely decorated dining room, were a very pleasant experience.
  : The main house is partly a business meeting room complex, so a mix of business people and tourists some days. The pool is rather small and in need of some care and attention, and it's location in a position exposed to everyone using the hotel might not be to everyone's taste.Our room was in the main house. A little disappointing, slightly grubby carpet, discarded cigarette butt's in the gravel outside of the door, and with decor and fittings more suited to a modern budget hotel. Not really the " Chteau experience " we had hoped for.

  : i asked after dinner whether breakfast was included and was told YES !! When the bill was presented it included E12 for breakfast x 2. as i was told it was included in room rate we only had a croissant and coffee so i was shocked when [presented with the bill. i complained and the manager was most unpleasant that it spoilt our stay.

  : Beautiful location. Lovely staff. Bins in the room could be replaced and some burns in the carpet should be dealt with...but it really is a lovely place
  : Broken bin in room. Silicone needs replacing in shower.
