  : There was complimentary drinking water, tea and coffee available, the room was clean and the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating - she made our stay, really. The breakfast was beautiful with a good selection of home-made Russian breakfast food like pancakes, crumpets, rice porridge and omelette. The coffee was very nice, too. The hotel is within a walking distance from most Moscow attractions and a very short distance from 3 railway stations. All in all - a very good value for money.
  : The toilet pipe was leaking a bit (the staff were on it the minute we raised the issue) and the room was a bit stuffy/moist, but easily fixable with a few minutes of air conditioning.

  : No soundproof. But it is understandable since there is no way to rent a proper room with thick walls for $40 in the center of Moscow; you can have a decent rest in such hotels though if they do not rent out their facilities on per hour basis (in this case you will have to listen to people having sex)Rooms are in the first floor so anyone walking in the street can see what is going on in the rooms unless you use curtains.

  : Boutique sized, quiet neighborhood. Near major subway stop and train station. Great breakfast. Park gym.
