  : Claudia was nice and parking was free.
  : The place was described as a "boutique hotel", but the only thing that was boutique hotel about it was the price ($507 for two nights). It would be more accurately described as staying in someone's house with none of the service and amenities one would expect from a boutique hotel. The breakfast was described on the website as "fabulous", but consisted of a basket with a sugary breadroll/muffin, a sugary (Yoplait) yogurt, two spoonfuls of sugary "granola", a banana and a mandarin. The basket contained paper cups and coffee to be made in our bathroom. NOT very fabulous! The website described the room as having a balcony, but failed to point out that this was shared with the room next door - no privacy from the room next door.

  : The hostess Claudia was wonderful. She was conversational, friendly, and helpful. She respected our privacy and gave us great tips about restaurants and nearby attractions. The facilities were homey and comfortable.
  : The only change Id recommend is to offer breakfast yogurt not containing sugar substitutes. Otherwise the breakfasts were fine!

  : The house was really beautiful. The room was big and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the bay.
  : I will not call it a hotel but rather a room in a private home. The fabulous breakfast was a basket to take to the room which contained per person - one scone, flavoured yogurt, one fruit and coffee pads. In essence; underwhelming and not up to standard.

  : Big room, comfy bed, off street parking, two blocks from the harbour front (otters, sea lions, pelicans, herons etc and also the Galley Restaurant - which is very good!) and downtown with a very decent coffee shop - Top Dog.
  : Well maybe its a European thing, but this is not what Id call a boutique hotel it was more going to stay at your nans! The owners are very kind and accommodating but the breakfast is poor and seems to be aimed at minimising their effort rather than pleasing their visitors. The room we were in was on Main Street and as it didnt have double glazing it sounded like the cars were driving through the room. And the owners started having very loud conversations with each other, of which we could hear every word, at 6:30 in the morning. A very unexpected and unusual experience!
