  : I was scared to death to have my teenage children at this place. The other guests were people who "lived" there; they weren't travelers like we were. Seemed like they rented by the week. They were hanging out around the property, and many seemed to be druggies. My teenage girls were getting way too much "attention" from the other guests. Even though I had already paid $100 to stay (which was WAY too much for this place), we left after 20 minutes. There was no way I would have been able to sleep; I would have been on alert all night. I only paid $10 more to stay at the Best Western which was only a few miles down the road. It was a WORLD of difference....I was so happy to get the hell out of the Monticello Motel! (Ever seen the movie Vacancy? Yep, exactly)
