  : The woman manager was horrible! Our room wasnt ready when it was supposed to be. She caused a scene. She continued to cause a scene and then decided she wasnt going to check us in and left the poor young lady who just started to fend for herself. I have never in all my years staying at a Holiday Inn have ever experienced someone so rude and incompetent in her job. She should not be the manager. I will never stay at the Monroeville hotel again. And after we checked in and got to our room, the other people that we were with overheard her bitching about us at the counter very very, very unprofessional.

  : Breakfast was amazing. The gym was really nice. Having an indoor pool was a plus. My favorite thing was the shower and bathroom supplies. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner, but, I didn't even need it. They had Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and hand soap in the bathroom. The woman who does breakfast twice a week was a sweetheart!!!
  : There were only 2 things we didn't like. #1. The pool was FREEZING!!! The room the pool is in, is about 80 degrees, we expected the pool to be warm when we got in. As soon as I stepped in, I jumped out!! #2. The man that does breakfast 5 days a week. He watches everything you do. He makes you feel judged. It's almost like he doesn't want you to take any of the food because he will have to replace it.my husband and i had to leave early every morning, so, we brought our breakfast back to the room and ate while we got ready. He would stare at us as we walked to our room like we just STOLE from him. We weren't the only people that felt that way. Many other guests made similar comments. It gave me anxiety to go to breakfast on the days he was there. My husband and I stayed here for almost 2 weeks and spent close to $1500 on our stay, we shouldn't feel uncomfortable to get food that we paid for.

  : Hotel was very clean and staff were all friendly. Breakfast selection was good.
  : Although I booked the room several months in advance and specifically requested two beds, we were told upon arrival that such a room was not available for our entire week stay. After 3 nights in a room with 2 queen beds, we were moved to a room with a king bed and sofa bed. My friend and I are not partners and did not want to share a bed. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. We left a day early.

  : Paid more than quote. Hallway smelled terrible. Room had queen bed instead of king. Shower was disgusting we couldnt shower.
