  : Beautiful cottage with superb views all around the cottage! My children enjoyed watching the sheep/chicken and the geese. We explored several nature reserves within 30 minute driving distance and enjoyed our walks.

  : Cosy cottage with a great view , no other properties in sight, would be even more beautiful in summer. Completely away from the busy world, yet only minutes to the supermarket and shopping center. A well equipped kitchen with enough of everything. We saw several different birds of prey from the road as we drove to and fro.
  : No WiFi and phone signal not the best, but we did manage to hot-spot most of the time we needed to, but it did mean my wife didn't try to work too much, maybe this should be in the things I liked!

  : Lovely location and views. A cosy and safe property. Clean beds with well proportioned rooms. We loved seeing the ducks in the morning, the farm doggies saying hello and watching the cows in the distance! It was the perfect size for our family to use as a base. Would definitely stay again and let other people know about it. Refreshing to have no WiFi, as allowed us to switch off.
  : Obviously a popular property for good reason; the hosts are friendly and the location is beautiful. The property could do with a little paint refresh, but I'm sure it's hard to do this when it's in use so frequently. A few more drinking glasses would be useful and the gripper on the stairs occasionally caught our feet... but all minor things to what otherwise is a lovely place to stay.

  : Unfortunately I had a terrible stay at Glebe Cottage...I had to check out a day early as there was a complete infestation of flies and secondly, there was no Wifi at the property and this was no mentioned within the booking information section so I had absolutely no idea of this before arriving. I would NOT have booked to stay here if I had known about the lack of internet connection and certainly not if I had any insight into the fly issue. I have since found that people mentioned it in their reviews but it was NOT clearly advertised as a property with no Wifi connection.On my 3rd night at the property I asked the owners if they would kindly allow me to access the wifi for one evening as I had an important virtual work meeting I needed to access online. I was told they had previously had someone 'hack' their system which was also what they used for their business which is why they no longer give anyone access to the Wifi. This was really disappointing and made things difficult for me personally and business wise.When I arrived at the property the owner mentioned fleetingly that there was no Wifi access (again this was not mentioned within the property information when I booked) and then she saw a few flies in the lounge on the window and commented that it was because of being in the country. I am aware of this being common near and around farm land and was absolutely fine with this. I cleared said flies after she left and continued with my evening.Each morning I would leave at 8.30am and return in the evening at 5/6pm. I did not open any windows or leave any doors open for the entirety of my stay, yet when I returned to the property each evening I found flies in every room and then on my fourth night there were HUNDREDS (See photos)Had to get Sykes Cottages to manage this issue and the owner refunded me 58 (less than one nights stay). I accepted this but would not stay here again as it was distressing and honestly felt really disturbing.
