  : Upon arrival at the unit, we discovered we had been sent the wrong entry code TWICE. Just by chance the building manager came by as we were texting the property management company for a valid entry code. The management company had a recoding on their phone and never responded to us. Then, the property manager asked to enter the unit to put wet sheets from the washer into the dryer (not a problem, but bad form). Finally, we were presented with a 10 page plus lease document to sign (I refused); there was no reference to this document anywhere on the booking site. Our deposit had already been processed when we received this document. Not only bad form, but bad business. Finally, the unit had room fresheners both downstairs and upstairs that were overpowering in scent. When I unplugged the air fresheners, the upstairs hall had whiffs of a sewer smell. It appears these units are not really suited for short term rentals. They are over staged with decorations and the management company requests that you not wear shoes throughout the two story unit. While very spacious and luxurious in design, the (ridiculous) house rules do not fit the application for use.
