  : Kid-friendly - lots of activities after a long road trip. The pool was warm and the kids (& parents) actually wanted to swim. It was mostly families and one sports’ team during our stay. Our room was clean and updated. Pet-friendly with an open lot behind the Dairy Queen right next door.
  : When we arrived, the sign was broken, and it looked like kind of a shady place to bring a family. The hotel is at an exit different from all of the other hotels in Mitchell. If I hadn’t walked around and seen other guests and our room, we may have canceled our reservation and gone elsewhere. I saw rolls of carpet and evidence that they plan to make more needed updates. They seem short-staffed like many other places.

  : Very old and a little run down, but friendly staff, not too expensive, and free mini-golf :-)

  : The putt putt golf area.
  : We had to change rooms because the bathtub was dirty with only god knows what. The second room we were put in had hair all over the pillows. Staff was unfriendly and rude. The hotel is a maze of its own, no maps to tell you where you are or where to go. Trying to find the main entrance was difficult even from outside since there’s a dozen or so entrances. Super outdated and smelt like smoke no matter where you are in the building. No fridge, microwave or even alarm clocks in the room, and the heater/ac was broken; either will be blazing hot or freezing cold, if it turned on at all (1st room we had, it wouldn’t turn on. I could go on for long time).
