  : Good value for the price. Great location. Parking free and easy.
  : There was a communication issue as we didnt speak portuguese. We didnt understand that we had to use the back entrance to enter to building around 23:00. The shower is very small but overall good for a night stay.

  : Location - hard to find. My booking was confirmed with a double bed - yet my room was a twin with 2 single beds. Room was small and bathroom very cramped - anyone with long legs will struggle to use the toilet. I was there in March and although chilly outside it was even colder inside. The air conditioning unit was only partially effective as half of it was behind the wardrobe and only heating the (cracked) wall. Bathroom was even colder and damp as no heating in there. After loading the bed with blankets I did sleep but woke up to springs in my back - new mattress needed. My reservation did not include breakfast but confirmed it could be purchased, although my request for such was simply met with a resounding 'NO'. It may not have helped that neither party spoke the others language, but even using a translator app the proprietor simply would not entertain a request for breakfast. Although seemingly attractive being located in the old walled town, this is simply a seductive selling ploy, and on reflection the more modern hotels in the new town would definitely be a better option.

  : Location is good, bed was comfortable, shower was good, room was quiet. The room is actually much newer than I expected. When it was working, the wifi wasn't bad at all. But it turned off for hours each day, seemingly randomly. At these times, it was still available in reception, if you stood there with your laptop. So there's obviously some sort of issue blocking the signal.
  : The wifi kept turning off, generally at the same time. I mentioned this to the lady at reception, and was met with a shrug and the standard "it works for everybody else", without even checking whether it was working for everybody else. No kettle in the room, and no access to any shared kitchen, even the one that you can pretty much see from reception. A kettle in a hotel room is standard across the world and a very, very simple addition to a room. I requested a kettle before arrival and was told "no."

  : Bathroom quite small but it manageable. The hostess although very polite could be more attentive to requests.
