  : Location Location Location So quiet and peaceful right on the water front . You couldn't be any closer without swimming . Walking to Cawsands a short pleasure
  : Walking was great for us .However the climb up to the road is steep and not for the faint hearted.

  : Fort Picklecombe is an unusual building with a unique history and that was one of the main reasons for visiting. The ground floor apartment opened out onto a balcony with the sea only a few metres away - wonderful to watch during the summer storm that happened when I was there. There is also excellent walking from the Fort
  : The underground parking and corridors leading from it to the apartment were dully lit. I felt totally safe, but it was a bit unwelcoming (it's a problem I see with a lot of apartments that were built/created in the 70s & 80s). However, the lift worked fine and once in the apartment, it was soon forgotten.

  : This is remarkable place to stay - at the water's edge on a promontory across the river from Plymouth, in a former military fort. The apartment is only yards from the waves and has everything you need, including a balcony and allocated parking. Highly recommended.
  : Everything was great. The massive stone building felt chilly at first (in February) but soon warmed up.
