  : We arrived in Miami and headed to the hotel bus shuttle at around 6:30 p.m. local time. The hotel - Best Western Plus- had neglected to inform us that it stopped its shuttle service 2 years prior. The 6 of us waited (with 2 kids below 10) waited for about an hour and a half while intermittently trying to contact the hotel. They never answered.  We eventually had to hire an UBer for USD $50.On arrival at the hotel, we were greated by a gentleman named Anthony who was not the most pleasant/accommodating of receptionists. He matter-of-factly informed us that no payment could be accepted by cash. He grew more irritated as we asked about options. Eventually we paid for our first room. On attempting to pay for our second room, they card machine's key pad malfunctioned. Anthony permitted us to wait in the available room, indicating that he could not issue us the keys for room 2 until payment was made.We took the evevator to the 3rd floor and could already smell the wet carpet and moldy odor. On arriving at the 3rd floor, the smell was much worse. On getting to the room, we noticed that the toilet would not flush.We called Anthony and were told that there was no handyman and that we would have to change rooms. No one came to offer apologies or assist us in making the move. Believe it or not, the 4th floor, where our new room was located, smelled even worse!We were eventually given the keys to our second room which was on the 3rd floor. We specifically asked if we could be given a second room on the 4th floor and were told that there were no others available on that floor.We sat in the first room all trying to figure out if we would stay as long as we had planned and trying to figure out meals for the kids and for us. The room was so musty, my asthma had already started activating.While eating, we tried going outside to get a drink in the several vending machines. Not a single one worked.

  : The I did like any of your breakfast menu. The coffee tasted burnt, and I was afraid to eat from plates that might be as dirty as my room.The worst travel experience, I had to cancel my stay because the hotel is in very bad condition, the rooms are very dirty, sheets stained, the smell of dampness is unbearable, and the front desk staff doesn't help at all. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.
