Palazzo Sassi

: The staff were wonderful and made the stay extra special! Really close walk to the beach !
: The construction was going on outside our window and we were unable to use the balcony or open windows because of it. That was the only downside.

: The apartments are very spacious and beautiful.
: the shower and bathtub were clogged, not enough water ran out.

: Kind people in the property. Clean and large room. Large terrace of the room and rooftop terrace. The best place nearby is Sorrento.
: The shower drain in the cabin was slowly draining. The big bed in our room was weird. When we're arriving the bus from Sorrento to the stop near the property was with irregular schedule and have to wait 40-50 min. Recommend to use the train to Meta with more walking distance. The near beach was not clean. The bus from Sorrento to Amalfi via Meta didn't take us because came full from Sorrento, that's why in the summer is better not to take the bus to Positano and Amalfi from Meta but rather from Sorrento train station.

: Meta is really small town. Palazzo Sassi has a good location for a Meta beach, bus to Sorrento is also just 3 min. away. We had big room, also possible to use a roof top for sunbathing. Great, helpfull staff.

: Its a pretty place. Not hard to find. Cheaper than other parts of the Amalfi coast. Close to a nice beach. It's across the street from a very nice restaurant with great food and service.
: While the woman in the morning who took care of breakfast was very sweet and professional, the staff member who checked us in the afternoon before was not. We arrived a little before check in (4pm) and the place was unlocked, completey empty and no one showed up. Neither phone # on the door worked. I had to go to the shop next door and have someone find a staff member. She showed up making excuses that she emailed us the day before that she wasnt always there, so it was our fault we didnt respond. (I dont have a working phone on vacation) So yeah, rude, unprofessional. Bed wasn't that comfortable. No coffee maker or kettle in room. One of our "clean" towels had a fake eyelash stuck to it. And there was only 5 minutes of hot water at a time so if you're a couple, one of you will be taking a cold shower or waiting. For what we paid, i expected more. Have had better service at a youth hostel.

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Couldn't say that we liked anything, we had to leave after just one night because of the very poor state the bathroom was in (very dirty and barely working).
: It looked nothing like the photos. The property had very poor bathroom hygiene and fuctionality. The shower cabin and faucet were broken, pubic hair and feces of the toilet and toilet seat, mold on the shower drain and all the towels were very old, ripped and stained. The person that welcomed us wanted to give us the key and leave as soon as possible. When we disscued the issues, they didn't help at all. This propriety ruined our vacation and even refused to give our money back. DON'T BE SCAMMED!
