Located in a lush environment just 20 metres from the sandy beach of Boukari in Corfu the family-run Golden Sunset features a seafront restaurant serving fresh fish. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a furnished balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea. A 32" satellite TV and a fridge are included in all rooms at the Golden Sunset. : I liked the atmosphere. It's a family business and I met all generations there, from grandfather to grandson. Everyone is friendly, no matter what your problem is. You find everything in one place, from the pool to the restaurantand a general store. We like sandy beaches. So, we rented a car from Gand Car and drove across the island every day to the famous beaches located on the east side of Corfu. I must say that we paid 60/day for the car and 20 for petrol using the car for four days. It was very convenient for us.
: In the western part of the island, all the beaches are quite small and full of stones and shells. So, for those who love to sunbathe by the pool, Golden Sunset is the place to be. The others, need to move a bit.

: Nice sunset, small lovely beaches nearby, owners tried to be friendly and help with the problems. Private parking.
: Bathroom was different from the one at the photos - it definitely needs renovation. Bed sheets were full of stains, towels were probably from the previous century, and they change it only once in 3 days or so. No pool towels provided. Breakfasts were very poor - only one warm option (boiled eggs/omelette) with bacon. If you have any food allergy, you will definitely be hungry. Both coffee options were terrible, for the first time in my life I wasn't able to drink it.

: Lovely family run hotel, fantastic people, food excellent, everywhere was spotlessly clean . Nice little beach opposite. It is pretty far from Corfu town and airport - 1 hour in a cab . Quiet relaxing spot for a holiday, gorgeous views
: It is a bit far from other places on Corfu so you need a car or transport

: Very quiet and peaceful - no kids about !Small family run. Lovely varied breakfast.Clean rooms.Lovely view over the sea and sunsets are amazing.3 local restaurants all on the beach front - all just 5 mins walk.Always sunbeds available around swimming pool, and some days had pool to ourselves.No tourist shops around, which makes it a nicer environment.You need a car as its in a very quiet area.If you like peace and quiet, no kids or tourist shops, lovely local places to eat overlooking the sea, then stay here. Its an amazing place away from tourism.

: Sea views from room. Comfortable large room - comfy bed, fridge, tea/coffee making, great air con., Good (but small) shower.. Breakfast - enough choice to get you going, all tasty. Evening meals were amazing - best prawns I have ever had. Swimming pool quiet and clean and nice that you can walk across the road to swim in the sea, lovely views. Good WiFi. Parking - great for our hire car and we explored the area. Walking distance to a number of tavernas, all good, but we found we had to book to ensure a table. Very quiet and calm hotel. Lovely family run business - all staff very hardworking friendly and helpful. Thank you.
: -The hotel is right next to a fairly busy road which is noisy at rimes and did disturb the peace not the hotels fault and nothing they can do about it but something to be aware of.
