  : Fireplace made it cozy. Deer and fox walking by outside.
  : Noise from above unit makes this unit unacceptable. I believe the above unit is a rental, perhaps run by the same management group that handles the unit I rented. Fortunately for me, the noisy upstairs didn't start until the group checked in on the night before I was to check out. It isn't just the people and, in my case, the young children, walking and running around upstairs, the building's construction is such that the sounds are maybe amplified and transmitted. The ceiling light fixtures rattled. You couldn't stay in the main living space. You had to relocate to the bedrooms. The permanent owner/neighbor says the noise happens regularly from that rental unit.
