  : Personnel, very friendly and full of advices. We even got Lungau Pass card for free, no need to pay for cable lift or entrance into a local castle.
  : Pillows could be better. Water pressure in the shower was weak.

  : This hotel offers exceptional value for money. It is located in the centre of beautiful Mauterndorf, just next to the bus stop (regular service by the ski bus and easy access to Radstadt station). The rooms are simple and a bit worn down, but exceptionally clean. The bathroom is tiny but limitless hot water in the shower is what made our day perfect after a long day of skiing in Obertauern and Grosseck. It was very warm in the room so drying clothes was not a problem. Huge balcony with a fantastic view. Everything is close - shops, bars, ATMs and restaurants are a maximum 4 minute walk. Sauna was available daily. The breakfasts are good - but variety might be improved a bit. Parking is available just below the hotel (see photo) A special shout out to the fantastic staff who made us feel really welcome - borrowing a kettle or cutlery was not an issue. Any request we had was immediately fulfilled. Always a warm smile, always ready to give advice about the city. The room was cleaned daily and towels were changed regularly.

  : Facilities not in the same building (breakfast, sauna, reception all in Seffaner hotel); this was not mentioned in description, heaters for ski boots not working (had to wear cold and sweaty boots day after), sauna not turned on, had impression that Kernwirt guests were treated less important. For such price I did not expect such hiccups. Maybe was just this once. I hope things get resolved soon, because it is a nice location in friendly town.

  : Every staff member was very friendly and lovely, the village was also really sweet and quiet, kids also enjoyed running around the street. Bus stop for ski resorts is right outside of the hotel. And there even was a hungarian speaking staff member at the breakfast.
  : It was a bit cold at night in the room.
