  : Location, very close to the historical centre of Matera. Stores and restaurants nearby available. Excellent breakfast and cofee. Very responsive and helpful host.
  : A little bit noisy because of a main street nearby.

  : Location was an easy 10 minute walk from the train / bus station. The room was a good size, the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The bathroom was smallish but very managable, there was a decent hair dryer which was a nice surprise.The host Angelo has very limited English but he uses a translating app that works well.Breakfast was a croissant and a hot beverage.
  : Lighting in the room was poor, there was no round power points in the room for charging devices, we found one in the kitchen.There is some road noise, and a little noise coming from other tenants in the block.In other B&B's we have stayed in gives you access to the communal kitchen at any time, I would have liked to make a cup of tea in the evening, but here everything is packed up and put away following breakfast..No hooks for hanging bath towells.

  : Great location next to one the main square of the old town of Matera. The room was super clean and the owner very kind. The breakfast was also nice. Recommended!
  : The room that we have stayed was a little bit small for bulky luggage. There is no elevator (but this is typical for the most old Italian buildings) thus a little bit difficult for currying the baggage. A Wi-Fi connection would be meaningful.

  : The Old Town is just a 2-3 minute walk from the B&B's location, so you can be sure of that. Caring host Angelo, it was possible to check in 3 hours earlier. Comfortable bed, new towels, very tidy room.
  : Breakfast could be more varied. Only coffee and croissant offered.

  : Excellent location (I would argue staying very close to the Sassi is better than in any B&B within the Sassi), very friendly host, clean and comfortable rooms.
  : Check-in and check-out hours are not all that convenient for visitors but this is a common issue with hotels in Italy, I think.
