  : Although the free carpark was about 800m away from the property, it wasn't such a big deal because there are other accomodations which are deeper in the sassi. This B & B is quite close to the car accessible areas and along a main stretch. Breakfast was at a nearby bar which had adequate choices. Also, we could help ourselves to a good variety of cookies/snacks and drinks in the common kitchen. Cecilia was on point with her efforts to reach us a few days before arrival, ensuring that we had clear and helpful information/instructions about getting to the property. Even when we were later than our requested check-in time, she was so reassuring. Love her attitude.
  : We walked up and down the street a few times because the name of the accomodation had been covered with overgrown plants.

  : Good location to walk to cafes, restaurants, old town tours, and down into the valley. The novelty of staying in a cave, ofcourse! There is a pleasant shared outdoor seating area to spend time in when youre not out and about but dont want to be in the cave (we had beautiful weather while we were there so didnt want to be inside much during the day!) Breakfast was at some different cafes close by, and the host was incredibly helpful and friendly.
  : Wouldnt stay for more than 2 nights as it does start to feel a bit damp and humid, even with the dehumidifiers going. But thats just part of being underground!

  : Great location and we were so happy that we decided to stay overnight in Matera - especially appreciated it when the tourists hadn't come yet and we were able to walk around in the empty ancient town the next day in the morning. Cecelia was a great help! She added me on WhatsApp in advance, explained the parking possibilities outside of Matera and recommended good restaurants & bars.
  : There was not much space in the bedroom and bath. The stairs up to the bedroom were narrow. We were lucky that we only had small backpacks with us. It would be very inconvenience to travel with a big suitcase in Matera. And if you prefer more romantic accommodation, you may consider raising your budget for boutiques or luxury hotels in Sassi style.

  : Destination, nice design and there is small kitchen.
  : The second room we had (the smallest one) was unexpectedly too small. Additionally, the shower door opens inward, making it difficult to exit the shower easily.
