  : Well laid out and well kept gardens. Room was very comfortable. Great gym.
  : Information was sparse and inaccurate, all on an app. For instance, app said restaurants were fully booked, but they weren't. App omitted to include entertainment that was on. The app invited us to make any requests, which they said would be normally responded to within 15 minutes. We're home now and no request was ever answered. No air-conditioned night club area, all entertainment was on the open air plaza, in an exceptional heatwave. But temperatures would have been the same or higher in high summer. Some music in the evening was good, but loud raucous rock bands and 3rd rate circus acts were not. No English tv channels except news. But they had Germans, Spanish and Dutch channels. They had a Quiet pool, but it had no bar service, and no view of the sea. Plenty other pools, which would be great for kids, but noisy and cramped, with sunbeds all next to each other. Huge infinity pool. Dining room was like a school hall, huge, dark and impersonal, and even the open air part was enclosed, no sight of the sea or pools. We booked half board. But when we got there, the two restaurants in the hotel and the restaurants in their sister hotels were fully booked for all of our 9 day stay, unless we were bed and breakfast, in which case they had availability! The hotel was very apologetic, and allowed us to change to b&b, after quite a lot of hassle.

  : The hotel is very big with different pools so there's enough space for everybody: you can easily find a sunbed even after 11am (but keep in mind we visited in September). Even if the hotel is huge the layout is very clever so it doesn't look crowded at all. The whole facility is very clean, and most staff is nice and attentive (except at the pool bars).
  : As I mentioned, the hotel is huge, and even though it might not look crowded in the pool areas, when you get to the restaurant you get to experience a real crowd. Getting to the food requires you to queue and bump into people the whole time. It's really dreadful. They should re-think the layout of the whole buffet. Another BIG negative is the fact that you never know what the heck you're eating. The food lack explanations on the ingredients and allergens, so if you're someone with particular food requirements, simply do not book this hotel. I believe it's a bit of a disgrace that a 5 stars hotel doesn't provide ingredients in their food beyond stating that something contains "pig" or "chicken". This caused me so many times to not finish whatever I put in my plate as I discovered it contained an ingredient I really didn't like. I think it's a huge shame. Also, all in all the food it not great. Finally, it's hard to enjoy a peaceful time while eating if the staff keeps on dropping cutlery on the floor every 2 minutes.
