Just 200 metres from both public and private beaches in Fondachello di Mascali King’s House offers a pool facing Mount Etna a restaurant and a lush Mediterranean garden. Rooms are colour-themed and have a panoramic balcony. Located in one of the five 2-storey buildings with no lift rooms at family-run King’s House Hotel overlook the pool and the garden and feature modern décor. They also come with a TV minibar and sofa.

Wi-Fi is free in the hotel’s common areas. A continental buffet breakfast and national dishes are served in the bright restaurant which is in the building where also reception and lounge are located. Guests can swim in the pool surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. The garden is equipped with a playground and a dedicated area with kennels for your pets.

: The reception was locked on arrival .No staff spoke English. The breakfast was a disaster. Stale and left overs. It was awful. The hospitality was extremely poor.

: The size of the room was above average with plenty of space for the three of usThe balcony on the first floor was nice with a wonderful view of the pool and any sort of palm threes.Croissants ere fresh and good.
: Very expensive in relation to the quality of the infrastructure.Very old furniture. In particular the A/C unit was so old that it was full of dust and rust inside and quite disgusting - perhaps even potentially dangerous - but you have to use it anyway as too hot otherwiseThe overall location was horrible with disrupted roads and in the middle of nowhereThe resort was filled-in with tables and chairs for more people it could actually host. The general feeling was as not well-cared by the staffThe pool wasnt regularly cleaned and the water didnt have any smell of chlorine at all which is a bit worrying.Sanitary measures were not existing at all.Cleaning was poor. In one week while they changed our towels very regularly then NEVER changed our bed linen. No idea why.
