  : When we arrived at the village we were very disappointed with our room as it was not as seen on the website....however we were moved the following day and it surpassed our expectations. The room was lovely with our shared pool and sunbeds allocated for the stay. The staff were exceptional ...from the lovely lady who cleaned our room, the kitchen staff , bar staff and the girls on the meet and greet reception....nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely Greek taverna next door, and the food there was lovely. We ventured into marmari and found a very nice restaurant that is also associated with summer village. The beach at marmari was lovely sand , we had to pay for the sunbeds here but only 10 for the 2 for the day with an umbrella. It took about 10 minutes to grt to the beach by foot. The bus service to Kos was easy and we did this x 3. We had a very relaxing week here, thankyou everyone, especially Anastasia.
  : The breakfast was very good but the cooked food needed to be kept hotter. It is a good 25 minute walk to the front of mamari from summer village.

  : As the majority of people are British, everything in this hotel is adapted to them/their standards. The food is horrible if you are not British - so greasy, always the same tastes and ingredients, artificial flavors.The WATER WAS COMING OUT BROWN from the sink so we HAD TO USE BOUGHT BOTTLES OF WATER TO WASH OUR MOUTH, hand, face.As with so many other customers, we were also switched to a lower level room for the 1st night due to overbooking. I feel like the hotel is doing it intentionally since there are so many same stories. The hotel doesnt even tell you beforehand, they actually make you pay at arrival, and then after couple of hours they tell you that you will me put in lower bedroom, even though you have paid the more expensive room. They dont event give you a refund or provide any apology, therefore it does seem they do this intentionally so that more people are paying for the expensive rooms although not being placed there.The soundproof is terrible, you hear everything - neighbors, staff, evening music, chickens etc.If feels there are too many rooms and the capacity of the rooms is too big for such small hotel. There is always a crowd when going for meals, at some point it is difficult to even get a table! Poor standard of maintenance and cleaning overall. Even though we stayed in the new room, the bathroom is poorly cleaned, they did not change one bathrobe (it smelled as used and had plenty of hairs). Even though they clean your room daily, you get a fresh towel which has (orange, brown) stains engraved.We went for this hotel as we thought we will get a lot out of it based on the fact that we take a poorer location of the hotel, however, it is still expensive based on the overall experience. Definitely not a 4 star hotel on EU standards.W
