  : It felt a bit shady when I pulled up and I didn't know that I would be able to sleep there. The room was basic, not what I would have expected for the price. I would have gladly paid more for a step up and better area. Although, the innkeeper is very nice and apparently screens the people staying there as it was very quiet, which I didn't expect anywhere on 4th of July. I appreciated that, but until they do some upgrades I wouldn't stay again.

  : The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very spacious! It was also spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfy. The hotel is in a good location, only a few minutes' driving distance to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, our main destination that weekend. There are also restaurants and shopping nearby.
  : The rooms could use some updating, but we were comfortable and had no complaints.
