  : On the surface it was a lovely apartment,, everything looked new and nice
  : When you looked a little closer it was very dirty , the windows hadn't been cleaned in a year , the washing machine still had someone else's washing in it , underneath the sofa cushions was a years worth of dirt . The shower in the en_suite was broken and the bath in the other bathroom didn't have a shower curtain so the floor got flooded . There was no mention on booking that you had to get up 3 flights of filthy stairs to reach your front door and when you did one more flight to get to your bedroom. Outside the main bedroom was so noisy from traffic and a building site next door that you were always awake by 7 a.m . I spent a couple of days trying to reach the management company when they finally got back to me they offered for someone to come and clean and make good how it should have been on arrival, but it was the day we were leaving so couldn't see the point and they also said that the windows wouldn't be cleaned, we declined there offer as couldn't see the point on our last day . We were told that outside the front door was nothing to do with them and to contact the building manager, but a warning to anyone coming my mum almost lost a shoe to whatever was stuck to the floor on the stairs I don't think I have ever come across somewhere dirtier. For the future don't think we will ever book with a management company as they just don't care , will always find a private host

  : The location was good, within easy reach of the sea, restaurants and shops. Free parking nearby was possible, paying parking was expensive but much closer. The management company were friendly and welcoming in emails and texts and on the phone, but were not active in sorting most of the problems, despite being contacted several times. The apartment was on the third floor and spread over two floors (not mentioned in the description). The entry instructions were misleading (keys in middle safe not top safe) and the apartment was not totally clean (fridge and oven werent cleaned, under beds and sofas had not been vacuumed). The downstairs loo was blocked when we arrived and despite our efforts and the agencies attempts never flushed properly. The safety trim round the cooking hob was not secure, we sent photos to the agency who were concerned but did nothing about it- we did not use it. They arranged for the fridge to be cleaned but didnt notice the oven which I cleaned. Two lightbulbs were missing, we asked for them to be replaced (one was the main light in a bedroom) but nothing happened. The bolts on the two upstairs bath/shower rooms did not work. Finally the advert describes WiFi throughout the property, but it only functioned in the downstairs section of the apartment, again we asked for help (a booster?) but nothing happened. The main issue appears to be that the agency staff were between an hour and an hour and a half from the property which they said made it impossible to help.
  : The management company need to check the apartment between each stay and not leave things to the cleaners. A quick check would have revealed that there were only two cereal bowls (apartment for six), that the cleaning was insufficient, two light bulbs missing, that the welcome instructions were incorrect (both on-line, in texts and in the booklet) and that there was a safety issue with the hob. If there are problems it is not sufficient to acknowledge their existence. On the only visit the representative brought hangers for the wardrobes, tried to sort the loo with a sink plunger, looked at the hob and acknowledged the list of issues I had sent them. The lock on the ground floor exit door to the street sometimes jammed making it impossible to exit the property - one of the other residents had stuck a notice on the door in an attempt to prevent this happening - nevertheless a clear hazard in the event of a fire.
