  : Great location next to all the archeological sites we wanted to visit.
  : Facilities: Dated and in poor repair. Room was small with a large crack running the width of the room on the ceiling. We found a small amount of mold in the very small shower stall. Staff: Friendly but severely understaffed. Believe this was due to we arrived two weeks before shut down for the season. Restaurant: We arrived at location at 5:30PM. The restaurant was already booked for the entire evening. There was another option for food at the upstairs lounge. However, as the restaurant was booked the bar was extremely busy while being severely understaffed, as previously mentioned, with one staff member being extremely irritated. We opted to buy some prepackaged food items from the reception area. Location: Outside the fact that this property is located on a national park with beautiful views, it is a very isolated location. It is close to 30 miles from the park entrance to the lodge along a well paved but winding road that climbs around 3,000 feet to an altitude of 8,800 ft. I cannot verify if this is true for all the roads but I did see several posted signs stating the roads were closed after dark. Back to the altitude. For a Kansas boy, I found 8,800 feet to be extremely difficult to sleep in. This should be taken into consideration when making plans.

  : Love the views! The rooms are decorated in a cute southwest motif. Great water pressure in the shower.
  : Rooms are small, but adequate. Our room was a little dusty.
