  : The views were amazing and the room really spacious and breezy with lots of light. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. I loved the room.
  : I should have booked one with a terrace or balcony. There was no where to hang clothes to dry after hiking. If you have trouble walking uphill it would be difficult to access .

  : Manarola is amazing, I've now been 4 times but this is the worst place I've stayed by far.Room was decent size and clean enough but does not deliver what they advertise. Feel completely mis-sold.
  : FALSE ADVERTISING PLEASE BEWAREThe facilities list for this place on booking.com page claims the following:- Soundproofing. Couldn't be further from the truth. The walls are paper thin. I could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door, not just conversations but light switches being flicked, zips on suitcases being opened/closed, toilets being flushed. Snoring from the next room kept me awake most nights and was woken from eventual sleep a couple of mornings with guests moving about at 5.30am.- Terrace and sun loungers. What they don't tell you anywhere on the page or through the booking process or even after booking, is that these are only accessible if you're staying in one of the 2 rooms on the top floor. Don't be deceived by the pictures and info- Sea view - only if you crane your neck round the building. Other than that the view was between 2 walls to the hill beyond- Tea/coffee making facilities - a kettle is provided but we had NOTHING ELSE. No cups or spoons, let alone any tea or coffee.- Clothes airer. Another lie. There's no clothes rail to air dry your clothes, which is really needed when it's been raining and you need to get things dry.- 24 hour front desk - there's no front desk at all. Hosts will email you to find out your time of arrival and give you instructions for check in but in my experience, beyond that they're not responsive at all. I'd emailed them about whether I could access the terrace (even willing to pay more) but had no response from them at all.

  : We arrived at 2.30pm when check in was 2.00pm, and had to sit outside and call the phone number. We were told that the room was not ready and we could not go inside. A young couple with a dog turned up half an hour later and went inside, with the man returning later to say he had prepared our room. He clearly had done a very quick clean of the room after the previous guests. The bathroom was still wet when we went inside. The bathroom was NOT clean and the shower was filthy with thick slime and grime around the door. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything the neighbours did. This was sold as an ocean view however a view is only possible if you put your head out the window. The bed was unstable and when one person rolled over, it woke the other up.The location is not very good and it is a long walk up a very steep street.

  : The room was pleasant enough but unfortunately the walls are thin and we could hear every word the people in the other room said.
  : The photo on the website is deceptive as there is only one room with a balcony. The check in process was not outlined for us thereby we spent several frustrating hours trying to figure it out.
