  : You need to book one of the upper rooms to enjoy the few the others are in a kind of basement but super nice designed . It’s right in the ocean but in the same time on the street so keep that in mind

  : Location was right off the highway which I didn't expect. Photos made it look like it was a little more secluded than it actually was. The entire property looks like a motel, which I didn't expect. Rooms were smaller than expected. BUT quality of room itself was very nice...staff was exceptional...food was very, very good. Rooftop experience was very very nice.
  : Nothing can be done about this point...but just realize that this isn't a remote beachfront retreat...it's right alongside the highway and on a tiny stamp of land, so you can't meander about. Still a great choice, all things considered. Simply, not a "resort" or a larger property like Laguna's Hideaway.

  : The room was very small and noisy. Despite double pane windows, the traffic on the main road was overwhelming.

  : Proximity to the beach and the room was nicely designed and comfortable
  : No fridge to actually use or closet to put bags. My car was hit in the parking lot and the staff could not locate on the cameras who did it. That left me pretty upset.

  : The property is pleasant enough. It’s clean minus the ants and has a nice California beach vibe. Our room was right off the parking lot so we had a lot of noise beyond just the highway. The roof deck is what makes the hotel.
  : It’s priced like a luxury hotel and delivers a comfortable place to stay in a good location. To be clear, the staff is really great, friendly and helpful. The hotel is just way overpriced for what it is. If you didn’t feel gauged by the price you would be extremely happy. 600+ a night for a ground floor double room is laughable. Thus the price to be in Malibu. I was there for work and wanted to be close to the venue so I didn’t have to rent a car. I should have rented a car and stayed further away. You’re charged with an amenities fee for their beach gear they have available, and they also charge you a 3% bed linens fee. One would think 600 a night could cover your linens and the beach gear. Ask for a damage deposit rather than asking your customer to pay for your beach chairs and surf boards.
