  : Super clean, quiet, great beds. Very close to the Prado and to interesting streets with bars, boutiques and restaurants. Easy walking distance to rail station, Plaza Mayor and other sights.The managers were super friendly and helpful.

  : Fantastic location. Early check-in possible which is much appreciated when your flight is in the morning. Note it is a 3rd floor and a lift is indeed small and old but still working well and you don't need to carry your luggage. The room was super clean and cleaned every day. The staff is very nice and helpful.
  : The room is small for 3 persons and the beds were not suitable for tall people. However, we would book again.

  : Air condition in the room, which actually do the job, even in the hot summer days. A great relief after a busy day outdoors. Clean room and bed sheets. Room cleaned and bed sheets changed daily. Very helpful staff (Owners). Helped beyond the expectations. They are speaking good English, so no communication barrier! Quiet room in the center location, while close to the major bus and metro (subway) lines. Located in the nice and safe neighborhood - the writers quarter. A lot of places to seat and eat - of various styles - around. The building' entry and the staircase are looking very nice - as a historical artefact by itself (see the picture).
  : Old (looks as about 100 year old!) elevator must be used correctly. May stuck if operated wrong. On another hand, the hotel' staff helped me, when I operated it incorrectly, so don't worry. Not suited for travelling with a car. But this is expected from the place in the city center.

  : The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the location was great. The place was clean and tidy.
  : The walls were paper-thin so I could hear people next to me making noise until 1:30 am. As I traveled around Spain, however, I discovered that many other places had similar conditions: thin walls and ceilings.

  : Only very minor issues for possible improvement - it would be good to have cold drinking water and possibly a small coffee / tea station for guests available in the lounge.Rooms could do with a bit of a decor refresh, but everything was very clean and well cared for.

  : Nice location. But I stayed too short a time, so I'm not qualified to elaborate. The room I had was very quiet. And they have special heavy dark shades that nicely black put the whole little room. Nice bathroom.
  : The owners really MUST come up with a better manner of bedding. They don't use a blanket, but rather a BEDSPREAD as blankets. Huh? This does not seem sanitary at all. They can't possibly be washing that every time. I won't stay here again if this keeps up. They need a duvet covering. I have never seen this unacceptable way of making a bed. Also, the bathroom shower water was hot and then ice cold, no matter how you turned the faucet control. Weirdest thing ever. You could either get burned or get a ton of cold water on you for a long period. This is Room 5.
