  : I had booked a family room and I was offered a studio nearby if I wanted to change . I did . No regrets ! Clean rooms . Clean bathroom. TV, microwave . Everything basic but good and clean . Great location . Close to metro stops and main Madrid attractions . Close to restaurants ,mini markets, shops . Bus stop to & from airport close by . I dont understand the ratings on this hostel . If you want a 5 stars hotel, theres plenty in Madrid but definitely cant rate them bad just because they are basic . Its good value for what you pay .

  : The position was excellent.
  : The problem was that a maid came to the room to clean only on the 5th day. I had to ask for a change of towels after the third night. Communication with the staff was difficult since they only spoke Spanish.

  : Now the bad parts. Noise. There is a bar right opposite to the hostel building, and we were hearing music and people having fun till late night. Balcony door, that was supposed to make room more quiet, when closed, didnt help, because it was broken and not closing fully. Also - emergency lights. That reddish light did not let us fall asleep until we covered it with piece of carton. In addition - air conditioning was not working as well

  : My blind was broke had no natural light for 5 days the shower holder was broke had to hold it no where to put your soap etc I complained to the desk nothing was done staff rude and could not give a dam only one small towel ask for 2 was told no and no blankets I'm going to phone booking com to complain

  : When we arrived, we were given the keys for another place and we werent even walk there. Also, in the booking confirmation there was the main address and we were sent to another address that was not in the booking, and that we didnt know.. We were told a door number but there was not number at the door. No receptionist at that new place, a tiny room with a one and a half size bed, when Ive booked a double room. No hot water, so we didnt stay and asked for a refund, as this was not the place I booked for, was dark, small, no hit water. The receptionist was extremely rood. Im still waiting for the refunds from the property and from Booking.com, that has told me if the property doesnt reply to us by phone or mail, we cannot do anything, thats it, that simple, and I risk to lose 500 euros. A horrible experience at a horrible place. I also had to pay for another accommodation, of course.

  : It had a private bathroom. The bathroom looked like it has been recently remodeled. Plenty of drawers space to unpack.
  : The room was small and directly above a bar/ disco which played music until 3:00 in the morning and people yelling and screaming in partying. The street was extremely loud and noisy. Because of that. The heater did not work and it was cold at night. I could not even use the balcony as the metal security door was stuck three quarters of the way down and I could not open it or close it. No chair to sit in. If you needed to sit down you had to sit on the bed. And there was no closet. It's no place to hang clothes.
