Wonderful

  : Loved the view from our balcony of the valley. Sat out there with a glass of wine and enjoyed it. The bed was totally awesome and slept like a log.
  : Only thing that couldn't be helped was the closing of the neighbors door. Thats on them not the inn.

  : The location is great and the view of the river, bridge and town are wonderful. The room was very clean.
  : They shut everything down at exactly 9am for breakfast. Even if you're sitting there eating, they come in and take everything away. No more coffee after 9am! I would at least wait until the customer is finished in the dining room before they come in and clean everything up.

  : Most everything! Friendly and room was so adorable! The things left for us in bathroom q-tips and sewing kit etc. was amazing !
  : Air conditioning was set on 80 when we came in and never got comfortable. GPS made it difficult. Maybe more signage would help.

  : Very minor thing the toilet was not a standard toilet. And the bed was very very squeaky every time we touched it couldn't really lay down and sleep on it every time you tossed and turned it squeaked so loud kept you up

  : The people running it. Lied at check in stating a second incidental cash only dep required. Didn’t agree but paid it anyway. Then found out at checkout that you don’t get the deposits back (if you are a local) until you stand at the desk and wait for them to find the man that is always on a smoke break at the front door, to physically go into your room and verify you didn’t steal or damage anything. Our ladies that stayed (because my local house was full of other friends/family I brought down for a long weekend) were between 61-74 years old. We don’t need their towels and we don’t have food fights. I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life while my three friends were standing there waiting for them to let me check out and get my cash back. The lady turned the security camera around to let me watch as the old man enters our room and goes through things to make sure all is still there and nothing was damaged. Then had to wait until he made his way back to the front desk to say everything looked good. By this time my friends have already exited the hotel and stood in the parking lot waiting for me because they knew I was so embarrassed by our towns actions. I brought 14 people down to Madison to enjoy a Derby and event. We spent a lot of $$ shopping, eating/drinking and lodging just to be treated like a convict in my own town. They assured me that it would not have happened had one of my friends that live out of town had booked the room. They said they were having trouble recently with some of the towns homeless coming in for a room for the night and using their showers, towels and bedding when they were filthy
