  : Clean, friendly staff and good location
  : The double mattress in the main bedroom was not comfortable. We could feel the springs prodding us and we did not sleep well on it.

  : The Shower pressure was immense, the fire with flame effect was great for those chilly mornings, the van was very clean. There was a DVD player as well, with the free loan of DVDs and games from reception.
  : The mattress was a little lumpy, but we sorted that by laying a duvet under the sheet. There was a slight draft from one of the windows, not an issue in summer, but for an Autumn stay it proved a tad uncomfortable, but we sorted it by laying a single duvet along the top of the sofa.

  : We loved the location and the cleanliness of the caravan and the site was suburb. We would definitely book again
  : Well what can I say. Everything was lovely to start with. But we had a tremendous storm on the Tuesday and when we arrived back at V18 we found that the caravan was in about 6 inches of water we even had ducks swimming in the water. It was so deep we had to wade through muddy water to unlock the door. Because it was so wet and the steps to the door were slippery I fell and hurt my leg. I called reception and explained then two very polite guys came to help. Took one look tried to sweep it away but that only made matters worse. It was like this right up until lunchtime the following day. We were told that there was nothing else they could do as the ground was so wet there was knowhere for the water to go. So we had to paddle through it at night when we went out for a meal. When I went to lock the door as we left for our night out I had to wade once again through thick muddy water. Coming back was a nightmare. We were not offered any sort of help IE. Another set of safer steps or at least something to help us get in and out of the caravan. The other thing that spoilt it a bit is that the restaurant was closed even for breakfast, I have to admit I did expect that to be open as it wasnt yet the end of the season, I was also very surprised that there was not a shop on site. Yes there is a shop just up the road but it is still a fair distance to walk.

  : There were broken venetian blinds on the kitchen and bathroom windows, all bent.I had to go and buy a knife as the one provided couldn't even cut a lettuce leaf! The spoons bent when squeezing a tea bag..
