  : Everything was lovely, the welcome, daily sweets at 3pm, yummy multi-course dinner every evening, huge breakfast buffet. The staff are super-friendly and genuinely so, the standard room I was in was spacious, convenient and had lots of nice details to it (tea kettle, knapsack for hiking, ...). My floor has a popcorn machine, the one above an honesty bar. Great also that you can attend free yoga classed and accompanied hikes.
  : Rooms are not sound-proof, you hear too much through walls and doors. I had a very bad headache and neither the hotel nor the market in the village had tablets, that wasn't helpful...

  : Excellent breakfast. Dinner was very good. Excellent service at dinner. Nice creative corner. Nice wellness area with snacks.
  : Food is not very plant based even the vegan options. A lot more vegetables would be great. The uniform of the female employees gave me the chills since they reminded a lot me of The Handmaids Tale. I think the idea is that they should look Japanese but they just look odd. Dogs are allowed but cannot be brought anywhere except the hotel room. The restaurant is so big that a dog section would be easy to arrange. The hotel clams to be soulful. What makes something soulful? IMHO its less telling your guests how they should be mindful and calm but rather modeling it. To have soul as a hotel would mean for me rather to be authentic than to claim to follow some Japanese idea and concept that nobody there actually understands in the first place. But thats just me and Im sure a lot of people love it as it is.
