  : Wonderfully hospitable staff! Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathtub. Very lovely toiletries.Gift pack of them to take home.Opening windows!
  : Room needed a good Spring clean; non-high touch areas were dusty and stained. High touch areas (bathroom, bed linen) were clean.Although sort of antique, the furniture is tired and worn and stained in places and so not very appealing on which to sit and relax. Carpets stained and worn too.Not so sure the actual room is an accurate reflection of the online photos of it?And yes - while I acknowledge the hotel is a business, I paid 5 times the usual price of the room, just because my stay happened to coincide with the World Cup Rugby on that night. I dont find the reason given by the hotel - that everyone else was doing it - a suitable excuse for blatant price gouging.

  : Pretty much nothing. Yes, its been a hotel for over 100 years. But the rooms are very strangely layed out. 1st room was so small we asked for change after first night. Changed to a room that was a little more spacious. However, a footed bathtub and bathroom sink were in main part of the bedroom. Just weird and not very accommodating in modern times.

  : Very small room!! There was not even room to open the suitcases! No relation to the published photos of the rooms! The exact opposite of a value for money place. Besides the people at the reception desk were rather cold and indifferent

  : Beautiful, elegant decor and the dining room was superb.
  : It didnt have a very distinguishing entrance and there was a flight of stairs but management was happy to carry our luggage up to the first floor. From there floors are serviced by a lift.
