  : Lovely stay in a unique and historic former school. Our room was cozy and very spacious. We had a very warm welcome from the owner when we arrived. The building is old and full of small details, and sounds, which we found charming. The guest kitchen and drying room were a welcome bonus!

  : Great location as a base for hiking trips etc around Lyngen.The building is charming, and the tour we were given explaining its history when showing around the place was a nice touch. Some quirks like having to take shoes off, and the creaky floors didn't bother us as those are understandable in a building like this.We didn't use much of the facilities inside, but there was lots of room for indoor activities. The communal kitchen was quite well equipped and had several stoves.
  : We would have appreciated thicker curtains, to keep the room darker when sleeping, as it was summer and sun was up most of the time. The wifi either wasn't working or had very bad signal for most of the time.We would have expected staff to be present when arriving and not require a phone call and a short wait, since we had announced the time of our arrival beforehand as requested.

  : It's very authentic place with the spirit of old times. There is enough space to spend time with big company of friends.
  : It's quite cold place. Despite the warm heater in the room it's still cold in hallway. But it is understandable because of big size of property.

  : A quaint place with a piano and a pool table. The kitchen was old but more than appropriate. We received suggestions for visiting places nearby, which was a kind detail.
  : The light in the men's restroom did not work. Showers are a bit offhand (but nothing critical). Breakfast is not served during the summer, regardless the information that might appear on Booking.
