  : Beautiful location, tiny village on edge of New Forest, with lovely little high street with coffee/cake shops, etc.Very well appointed old building, everything worked, great aircon in the room, very pretty with on-site bar service.Generally very good staff, evidence of personal service.Very good buffet breakfast (included), but extra charge for hot food.
  : Despite a big sell on high quality food, there is no chef on site Monday to Weds included, so we had to eat at the adjoining pub/restaurant. Very disappointing as we invited a friend to lunch so we had to eat elsewhere.Pub food was very good on first night, but soup was served stone cold on night two and no refund was offered.When we arrived with our friend it took an age to be served for teas and coffees despite being the only customers. More attention was being paid by a wedding planner to prospective clients near to us.Beautiful, beautiful, high quality hotel but we did see one mouse and one rat in the garden courtyard area running from one bush to another.When we arrived there was some evidence of someone else's plastic rubbish in the room. Not a major concern, but the quality control clearly could be improved.Despite on check-out being asked for my email so that the manager could contact me, we have had no contact so far.
