  : The location was great, as you could see Lake Superior and it was close to Lutsen Mountain Ski Resort for skiing. Also, the beds in the unit were comfortable. The lobby is fun, with a pool table, bumper pool, and games. They provided cross-country skis and snow shoes for guests for free. They also provide a jug of water for guests who don't like tap water. The hot sauna was lovely on a cold day.
  : The parking area was very icy, and there was a significant slope to get out, which was not salted. Many cars couldn't get out the way they were supposed to because they couldn't get up the slope. They should have de-iced the parking lot or put saw dust there to make it less icy. It was very dangerous. We had to go the wrong way to get out of their parking lot. We mentioned this to the staff, and they just shrugged and said they tried putting gravel out. VERY DANGEROUS.Also, the staff could be a bit more friendly and cheerful. The unit was spacious but needed updating. In addition, the kitchen had no sharp knives or a cutting board which was inconvenient.

  : Room had an odor. Kitchenette was equipped with everything needed except silverware, knives or coffee. Shower was small and out dated..
