  : beautiful view, right next to the road and bus stop but very quiet at night. rooms are small but have everything you need. there is a small common room with a fridge, coffee machine and outdoor seating area.

  : The room has a small balcony and the views to the lake and mountains are stupendous.There is a shared fridge with free milk and yoghurts and also a shared coffee machine with limited capsules. Filtered water can be refilled in the hotel's restaurant.
  : The room is very basic, if not spartan. The toilet is shared (there is only one toilet serving several rooms) and the shower of the single room is outside the room (double rooms apparently have their own showers).There was neither soap nor shampoo in the bathroom and the toilet. The village - Gandria - hasn't much to offer in terms of grocery shops and restaurants, so basically guests rely heavily on this hotel for food, drinks, etc. Problem is that on the day I arrived the restaurant was already fully booked for dinner (not necessarily by the guests of the hotel) and it was a problem to find another place for dinner (I ended up eating cookies). I think some tables should be reserved for the hotel's guests, but unfortunately this is not the case. This venue is primarily a restaurant, and it feels that it caters more for diners than for hotel guests. Go there only if you travel on a shoestring budget.

  : It was a great location and a fantastic place. Very peaceful. Il sentiero degli ulivi takes you to Lugano on foot in less than an hour and is beautiful and peaceful. The accommodation was very clean and the view form the balcony was fantastic
  : Even if I had no toilet in the single room, the communal toilet was very clean and had a shower in my room.

  : It is the most amazing view in an anciant little village overlooking the lake. Resting on the balcony was calming.
  : The bed was soooo uncomfortable. Take mosquito spray so you can leave a balcony door open.

  : The place is one of best value stay we had with a great location, beautiful view and very clean. As it states on their site, there is no staff available for services but check-in is efficient, and a plenty of snacks in the small common area. We stayed only one night as a transit from Switzerland to Italy.

  : Amazing view of the lake. Tidy room with a very comfortable double bed. The room had a shower and sink in it and the toilet was a shared one down the hall. There are not many rooms so sharing a toilet was not an issue. Common room with small fridge you can use & yoghurts, milk, hot drinks are provided. The lakefront is just a few minutes walk (down a lot of steps) and theres a small area with a jetty where you can swim. There is a great walking path from there towards Lugano along the coast. Bus stops right next to the property.
  : The bus to Gandria is quite infrequent so you need to plan ahead to make sure you get it when you need to.
