  : Huge house 10 min by car from Lucca. Our room was really big with a comfy bed and all the facilities needed. We also relaxed at the swimming pool in the garden, perfect to get some fresh!! And the breadfast was delicious, all homemade and super tastefull. 100% recommended, the owner really took care of us!

  : The whole complex in general is very nice and definitely unique. The beds were comfortable and the garden was cute.
  : The first thing that surprised me was when I received a message from the owner a day before our arrival saying that we have to text her what time we will arrive and if we come earlier or later we will pay a fee. I said that we will arrive between 4-5 pm and so we did. We were waiting half an hour outside in front of the apartment because no one was responding to my calls or ringing. A bit after half an hour a cleaning lady let us in the building, showed us our room and told us to park somewhere behind another house a few metres away from the apartments even though they claim to have the parking. When we saw the room we were shocked because it was not at all like what was described in the Booking. We were trying to call the owner but she said shes on her way and will come soon, we were waiting for another hour which was in total almost two hours since we arrived. When we said to the owner that the room doesnt have half the things it was supposed to have she said she understands and will check if there is another room available. She told us there is another room but for only one night and the other two nights we have to stay in the one we booked. We asked her to cancel our booking and refund us the money and we will go look for some another place to stay because the room is not like what she describes. She said that its not possible and the only thing she can do is offer us that one night in another rooom. We immediately contacted the customer service of Booking. They contacted the owner and convinced her to refund us the money for at least two two other nights if we stay one night there. When we were leaving the owner came to me and tried to make sure that we write her a good review and I promised her that I will write an honest feedback on the whole situation. Our room had see through glass doors right next to the entrance of the whole complex and was right next to very busy street so it was extremely noisy from all the sides. No fridge, no patio, no view, etc

  : I couldnt stand straight up in my bedroom because it was part of the roof void. the coffee machine wasnt working on arrival and wasnt replaced. the owner left to go on holiday without leaving us an emergency number. the toilet wouldnt flush at all the following morning and because we had no means to get assistance we had to fill the waste bin from the kitchen with water in order to get the waste to flush.

  : Very rustic and bohemian accommodation. The building had plenty of character as well as being of architectural interest.
  : A concern about the steep steps up to the bedroom, also a huge step up into the bathroom ( anyone with mobility problems should not stay here.)
