  : Our stay was brilliant! The team were friendly and helpful. Nikki especially gave us good advice on places to visit which we appreciated. The bedroom was lovely with a super comfortable bed, spotless en-suite and a good choice of hot drinks. Breakfast was delicious. Locally sourced food and the best full English I have ever tasted! The evening menu offered a good choice including an interesting wine list. The location is quiet with good parking . There are many interesting places to visit nearby.

  : Great location. Staff were very helpful and service was great to.Room was small but all we needed for a 2 day stay. Food in the restaurant each evening was lovely and plenty of it, don't forget to book a place as it fills up quickly. Breakfast was outstanding.

  : As always a pleasure staying at the bull Lorna & Nicky are absolutely fantastic so happy to arrive and see Lorna was still working here she's a absolute credit to the black bull team nothing is too much trouble one of the reason I come back is because of her. Rooms are done out to a high standard food is another level breakfast is absolutely amazing and all locally sourced.
  : Only slight problem with the heating in our room as the nights have become chilly the heating kept going off and the radiator in the bathroom was only coming either hot enough to burn or not at all was a shame really as I had to ask the whole time we stayed can we have the heating on and sometimes it would come on and then go straight off again becomes embarrassing when you've got to keep asking and it was never addressed and we told someone called Jay and he said he'd get someone to look at it and it never happened even done to he didn't pass on the problem as I told Lorna this morning it was a shame about the heating and she didn't know anything about it. Those are the small things that can make or break a trip away.
