  : The edge of town location, just off the motorway, is a very convenient overnight pit stop for travellers en route to the ferry port. The room is clean and comfortable and there is parking at the hotel. There is free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is self service, basic but adequate - ham, cheese slices, bread, cakes, fruit juice and hot drinks, etc. Theres a petrol station close by.
  : What were we expecting? Well, theres a clue in the description Hotel Restaurant. The hotel bit was OK. We arrived on Saturday afternoon, having driven all day, and checked in at reception, which is in the bar. We were told then that the restaurant isnt open on Saturday, its the staff rest day. After a short stroll round the neighbourhood we returned to discover that the bar, too, was closed, all was locked and in darkness. I understand that staff need and deserve rest days but we didnt feel very much like welcome guests! Perhaps the hotels advertising could (should) make the Saturday closing clear to prospective guests. To be fair, we were directed to another establishment, Estanca, which, we discovered later, is a very lively community bar/restaurant serving good value home cooked food. We spent a very pleasant evening there, eating, drinking and people watching!)
