  : Pedro never sent me a welcome email. Originally I had payment issues where my credit card company denied the charge. This led to a series of multiple charges on my account which I had to reach out to Pedro to be refunded for. I’m still waiting for the last one. Pedro never provided me with a suite number and I could not get a hold of him via phone or email. Instead his sketchy neighbor from 101 came out and called him. After a series of phone calls in Spanish to Pedro. (I do not speak Spanish.) The neighbor supplied me with the room number and the door code. This is a big no-no. Would you stay at a strange place where a stranger knows your door code let alone leave your stuff there? How about if you couldn’t get ahold of the host but the sketchy nieghborr could? Also there was a government notice on tbe door for the room were were renting for Pedro to call them immediately.

  : Excellent location in Long Beach 20 minute walk to Shoreline Village and Alamitos Beach. Felt very safe being a block away from police station, fire department, and courthouse. The hot water is almost always available right away which is very surprising for a vintage feel apartment. Even though it was a studio unit, the division of the walk-in closet and kitchen made it feel much more spacious. Didn't feel like a crammed studio at all. The complete amenities and lots of storage space in the kitchen were very convenient for our use for our long stay. Loved the heater, works pretty well.
  : The bathroom sink was pretty slow in draining. Without reception or a host in the building, it was kinda difficult to get a hold of someone to talk to for adjustments/questions/requests but once I got a hold of Pedro, communication was easier. There's a little bit of noise: the old fridge in the kitchen was also slightly noisy when it tries to cool down the contents and being near fire station and police, we could hear loud sirens often.

  : Simple check-in process (code access). Good location. Comfortable bed. Large TV.
  : Thin walls with noisy neighbors that were screaming at each other. Old apartment that has dust, dirt, and wear and tear all over. Light odor of cigarette smoke although the room is non-smoking.

  : but outdated and even though it’s a “smoke-free” apartment, it still smells of marijuana and cigarettes in the apartment area.

  : The entertainment choices were nice with the included Roku options on the television. The location was good for what I needed in the area. The hosts reached out the two times the water was shut off for repairs.
  : Between the bedbugs and the cockroaches my stay was less than optimal. The internet connection went out nearly every day, a few times on a few days, from a few minutes to more than 20 minutes on a couple of occasions which was frustrating.
