  : We booked this hotel because it was relatively cheap and London is expensive. This is an excellent central location with a 24 hour reception and friendly staff. Good to have breakfast included for the price though it was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, that's about the best thing I can say about it. Can't complain too much because you get what you pay for, but plenty of room for improvement.
  : If you have large bags, note that there is no elevator, which can't be helped but is worth noting. The appeal of place like this is that it's an affordable bed for the night. Doesn't matter if the room is a bit shabby - you're there to enjoy London. Having said that, the quality of the bed was the big sticking point. The mattress was very uncomfortable - we could feel every spring and woke up with sore backs and mild headaches every morning. Please upgrade the mattresses and put up some block out blinds. Breakfast was eggs, beans, a single small sausage, and toast - freshly cooked at least but a far cry from full English. Cereal, tea and coffee was also available self service. Bathroom was also tiny - I had to sit on the toilet side on to close the bathroom door, and somehow a shower was also in there.

  : Leaking tap in the bathroom, water got on the floor so we had to be careful not to slip when we entered the bathroom sink. The shower cabin is extremely small. I have to mention that I am petite and I was struggling to move in there!!! The overall cleanliness of the room was so, so poor I wouldn't use this place again.
