  : On arrival we were informed that we weren't actually even staying at the Shakespeare Hotel but at the Dolphin Hotel. Surely we should have been informed before arriving also having to fight tooth and nail to get any milk we were there for x2 nights with a grand total of x8 tiny milks.

  : Good location, 24 hour staff. Clean. Reasonable price.
  : NON-POTABLE WATER and nobody said anything about it. Small notice near sink said "non-potable, Nicht Trinken." For someone not a frequent traveler this would mean nothing. I know what it means but at 11 p.m. exhausted and in the year 2024 I do not expect to see that in London. I drank 2 glasses. Management assures me no bacteria, just high magnesium, and so far, OK, but the anxiety and stress and having to boil the water at 11 pm once I noticed and inability to fill my water bottle, were awful and this is just unacceptable. Unfortunately I failed to read other reviews that pointed this out. At a minimum staff should have explicitly TOLD me this and ideally NOT provided a glass or at least provided bottled water.

  : Very close to Paddington station and great value for money. Room doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but still included tea, soap, towells, and a mini fridge. At the price point, there isn't much to complain about, you get what you pay for, and that suited us perfectly.
  : A few rooms we had booked didn't have great ventilation after a few showers, but nothing unmanageable. The stairs were steep getting to the 4th floor, but again, not the end of the world.

  : Grate lockation, very close to Paddington station.
  : Bathroom very small but in London all hotels have small ones.

  : The staff were really nice, different staff when I checked in and when I checked out, but extremely friendly and welcoming. Location was great - very close to Paddington station and it was quite a nice area with facilities e.g. convenience stores very close.
  : The room was tiny. The bed wasn't even a proper single, it was narrower. There was a fire door just outside my room door, and there wasn't enough room to stand with luggage between my room door and this fire door, which made getting in and out of the room with luggage a bit challenging.
