  : The hotel was lovely, although very spartan all needs were met. The beds were very comfortable. The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly great location for buses to Oxford St and Victoria Train Station. Lovely old building .We found our way to His Majesty's Theatre very easily from this hotel and saw Phantom of the Opera
  : We were in the attic room. There is no lift due to it being a very old building. We as 70 years old, had to climb 5 flights of stairs every time we came in. We did it as we are reasonably fit but we sure slept well.

  : The staff were all so lovely and very helpful. The room, corridors, stairs and reception were clean. The hotel in general was quite quiet even with lots of rooms being occupied and the bed was lovely and comfy. It's a great base, we love the location as we've stayed in this area before. It's close to shops, restaurants and Kensington Gardens and the road outside the hotel is relatively quiet so you can't hear the usual horn blowing.
  : The room was very small, we realise London hotel rooms are small unless you're paying a lot of money but a few little changes would make the room more comfortable. There are no draws or decent shelving to allow a case to be unpacked so a suitcase rack would be useful so that living out of a suitcase would be easier. The TV to be mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed instead of the side wall. A heated towel rail in the bathroom as there was no heating in there at all so towels were damp. We had the option of fresh towels everyday but to us that was not very environmentally friendly. Add some decent shelving in the bathroom to put toiletries on. There was only the shelf at the back of the sink in front of the window but unfortunately there was a huge gap between the back of the shelf and the window with a void that if anything fell down it you wouldn't be getting it back.

  : The location of the hotel was great. The next tube station was just a 5 minutes walk away. Restaurants and shops are very close by. The bed in the hotel was comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was okay. :)
  : Our room definitely needed some modernisation. The paint was coming off the walls and the room was quite small for a double room. There was not a lot of space and storage for luggage and personal items. We didn't use the TV but the TV was not facing the bed and there was no option to move it. The tab in the bathroom was leaking and the window in the bathroom didn't shut properly. The room got quite hot over night. The walls are quite thin so you can hear people moving in their rooms around you (best to bring earplugs!). Overall a good hotel that met our basic needs and is in a good location but would probably recommend somewhere else if you prefer to stay somewhere more luxurious or require more space.

  : Perfect location for Bayswater and Queensway tubes, great to be close to Queensway for buzzing restaurants and to get a flavour of tourist London. Staff at the hotel friendly enough which was good.
  : Poor soundproofing via the partition walls.
