  : Location location location , there is a restaurants and cafes and grocery store 2 minutes walk , and of course CAMDEN market
  : If Im paying 40 for cleaning, and the next guy is paying 40 for cleaning, am i paying for his stay ? Or Im paying to clean the apartment for my stay ? ,, and it would be helpful if the cleaning crew can visit every 48 hours.

  : Location great, 2 min walk to Camden Town Tube. Studio flat at 158 Camden High Street was OK but the heater didn't work when I arrived. However, they sent someone to fix it quickly. Comfortable enough but a bit full of stuff crammed in.

Worst thing was the 40 "cleaning" fee which hadn't been made clear (obscure in the booking information, it should be very clear up front) until I'd already booked and there was no free cancellation so I had to lump it. That's an awful lot for cleaning a tiny studio room, several hours of cleaner's time even at London prices. I made very little impact on the room in two nights, used only the bathroom, shower and bed for sleeping, not the kitchen, so I doubt it took more than 30 minutes to give it a quick clean, change the sheets and one set of towels that I used. This is a rip-off.

  : In all my time of using Booking.com Ive never been stung for an additional cleaning charge demanded to be paid in cash when collecting the keys for the room. I stayed in what was a basic room for two nights and was charged 40 cleaning fee. The details of this fee is conveniently hidden in the small print of Important Information. I contacted the accommodation provider to ask to cancel as Id not been made aware of this additional charge, but was told that they had taken payment and would not under any circumstances be refunding my money and I was to pay 40 in cash regardless. The company staff were very rude on the telephone and it sounded like they were used to dealing with this type of complaint regarding this hidden charge. So, be aware that you are to add 40 to the total price quoted on booking.com for accommodation with this company. And you will be charged 40 flat rate if you stay for one night or several nights.

  : Insisted on 40 cash for cleaning on arrival, the apartment was not clean, kitchen benches were dirty with dried on food and crumbs everywhere, no plug in the sink. 30 minute walk with heavy bags from the office to the flat, flat nowhere near a tube station. Flat very basic, small stained 2 seater sofa for a flat that sleeps 6, only 1 pillow and a single quilt for a double bed. Kitchen benches were all burned with underneath exposed,

  : Apartments were nice.
  : They had double booked and we had to move for our last night. It happens I guess, but the new apartment wouldn't be ready until midday. We only had two full days in London and we lost half of the last day as we had to move. Tried to go to the office, but they insisted it all had to be done via email! This lack of concern means we will not be booking with them again.

  : Flat was clean, plenty of fresh linen and towels. Minutes walk from bars, restaurants and the tube
  : The internal stair leading to the flat was very dark, carpet was a bit threadbare. We were worried this would be indicative of the apartment but it wasnt!Bring ear plugs as Camden High Street can be busy and noisy at night
