Airy Spacious 1-Bed apt with Garden in Brixton

  : A half roll of toilet paper and no reserves and an empty tissue box, this was a bit mean for the price.
  : it was really cold in the apartment at night and there were no extra blankets or bedding. What was on the bed was one light summer comforter. Heating was off (I know we are in May already). I slept in a woollen jumper as it was very cold (Im from Germany I am used to cold)

  : small and quaint. it was very clean and located in a convenient part of London. We enjoyed our stay!
  : The fire alarms were too sensitive. For such a small space, you should really reduce it to two as opposed to three alarms. Ventilation is poor enough that if there were an actual fire, the tenant would definitely know. There is no need for so many alarms to go off at once. One of the alarms was so high up (near the staircase) that we couldnt get to it to press the hush button. We cooked breakfast, all alarms went off (stressful for the first morning). We cooked a simple dinner, they went off. we had to wait for them to stop. We highly advise you to either decrease the amount of alarms or figure out the ventilation issue. We got used to the issue and managed to hush two of them minus the one we couldnt get to, but I cant imagine what the neighbours must have thought. It was quite stressful overall.

  : The flat was very spacious which was really nice and appreciated. Also, the bed was very comfortable. I liked having access to a washing machine to wash my clothes as well. The neighborhood was quiet which was great for sleeping.
  : There were no paper towels and no laundry detergent available at the flat so I had to purchase them myself. However, they offered to reimburse me which was appreciate. Also, there were blood spots and stains on the sheets. When I brought this up with management, they replied quickly and offered a discount on the cleaning fee which I appreciated.

  : Looks exactly as it does in the photos. It is nice and private. Comfortable bed, clean sheets, decent facilities. Part of a lovely Georgian house with front and back garden on a wide quiet street.
  : Could often hear kitchen noises and baby crying in the adjoining flat could go with better sounds proofing especially at the top of the stairs where it seems only a wooden door separates the flats. Impossible to relax on sofa which is more like a bench. I couldnt access the flat on my arrival as I wasnt given key to the side wooden door to access the back of the house where the flat is located. Neighbours had to let me in. I wasnt provided with a key until five days after my arrival but luckily the door wasnt push closed until the Sunday when it was locked again but fortunately I had a key by then. The agents (whom we dont believe had visited the property) initially refused to believe a key was needed so it was very difficult to make them understand!

  : Great little bolt hole in Brixton. Easy walking to the centre. Clean, comfy, cozy.
  : You need a clothes horse that actually works. But if you fix that, it's perfect.

  : The hairdryer didn't work, the clothes horse was very small and broken. I sent a text message to the host and didn't get a reply.
