: I think Frau Boni, the manager, tries her best to manage problems given there are stringent rules put together by the homeowners association and trustees of the complex, when one stays in this accommodation. We truly understood that some issues were beyond her control; she did her best to address the stove and pool problems.
: The studio apartment is in a homeowner association complex where owners and their guests have to abide by rules (we have photos of these rules) - clearly understandable. However, we would appreciate the visibility of this information in the advert to make an informed decision before booking. Bring a kitchen disinfectant, dishwasher tablets, kitchen cloth, and towels. They are not provided. There is a charge of 50 EUROs if you do not clean the kitchen or put away dishes in the cupboards. However, we found dirty dishes, glasses, and cutlery in the cupboards that we washed. We do not blame other guests, they did what they can to avoid a fine. We were happy to pay an extra 30 EUROS for sanitation and disinfectant. It was disappointing that the cupboard doors look white, but the handles were greasy and dirty. We clean them to ensure our safety given the current C-19 situation and basic hygiene. "The pool is exclusively reserved to the residents of the complex and their guests if accompanied". Using the pool, I was disavowed by an aggressive and hostile man speaking in Italian for opening an umbrella that already appears to be broke. The agent explanation was other guests did not have an umbrella - It was so hot to grill in the sun and you are not allowed to bring a glass of water in the pool area. The rules also do not allow my daughter to be in the pool unaccompanied and the studio does not have an outside seating area except in the pool. Each time one disposes of rubbish, cameras monitor and record you in the bin area- It was genuinely awkward and uncomfortable, we wondered about the General Data Protection Regulation enforced in the EU and Switzerland. Guests are responsible to change light bulbs enclosed in high spec expensive fixed lampshades, we felt it left one open to risks of damage and liability, especially without the Italian electrical system's knowledge.
