  : The location was wonderful and the view of the chateau beautiful. Very central to Loches, making everything accessible and within walking distance. We didn't use the pool but it looked beautiful. A bonus for us was the ample parking close to the entrance. The apartment was well equipped, with everything needed for light occasional cooking. Fridge worked perfectly. A wonderful amount of storage space, unusual in rentals.
  : The 'decor' in the original mill building was a little tired, with bleach spills marking the carpet. Amazingly the double glazing did not mask all the external noise. I imagine in hot weather air conditioning units would make the rooms more bearable. The kitchen was practical, but the microwave was a good 1.8m high. Too high for me to see inside, never mind use. Some aspects need re-thinking. Why, for example, have a 12 piece dishwasher in a small apartment, when a model 450mm wide suffices for 12 covers?
