  : A very clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. There is a really nice vibe to the Lion Hotel and you immediately feel at home here.The hotel is in a great location just off the high street and only a 15 minute walk to Criccieth Castle. It’s also very quiet and has a nice area by the reception to relax in. The hotel provided gluten free options for me and the food was nicely cooked. All in all, a perfect place for the solo traveler and couples. Thank you so much for making my stay so comfortable.
  : The single rooms were a little on the small size but no real complaints. The security light in the ceiling needs turning off as it is a distraction when trying to sleep. The light in the ceiling outside Room 8 needs fixing as it doesn’t always come on and makes a noise.

  : The staff were fabulous. Couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier. Nice big communal sitting areas and tea garden. Right in the heart of Criccieth. Good VFM.

  : The rooms were clean and had a kettle, tea / coffee tray and hairdryer in them. The staff are lovely and the bar well stocked. The buffet style full English was excellent with a good choice of cereals too.
  : It's an old building and the floors were squeaky when people walked about. I always travel with ear plugs so wasn't affected.
