  : The owner was rude when we tried to check in early. We said we didn't realise it was 16.00 check in. Never known such a late check in time. They were so rude. We never went back and stayed somewhere else.

  : Fantastic, friendly run business. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Location is amazing for beach and countryside, and a stones throw from a train stop for access to Harlech and other attractions.

  : The worst bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in the whole place stank went out and bought air fresher for the bedroom,my husband hung his towel up on the towel rail it came out of the wall,room really cold,we didn't complain as reading other peoples review when they complained he threw them out.

  : The staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival and throughout the duration of our stay. Breakfast was a good variety and the hot food was very tasty. The hotel and rooms were very clean and fresh towels and lovely toiletries were available along with tea and coffee facilities. The location is absolutely wonderful with stunning views and a lovely garden to enjoy a drink. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away but a lovely walk all the same.
  : We found the beds to be very uncomfortable, we prefer softer beds and fuller pillows, this is just personal preference. The bathroom toilet was quite temperamental and didn't always flush first time, you had to leave it and come back which wasn't a huge issue but maybe could cause a smell for some. The bath was lovely but the shower was difficult for my tall partner, the shower head wouldn't stay in it's holder high enough for him to stand underneath so he did have to hold the shower head himself, again not a huge issue but could be difficult for some, especially for longer stays. The hotel has huge potential to be something really special which the owners are currently undergoing works to improve the hotel so some should keep this in mind if this would be an issue for yourself. The works did provide a bit of a smell in the hallway but this could have been made worse as it was a very warm weekend. We feel if we did communicate any of these issues with the owners they would have been dealt with but for a one night stay for the value we didn't find it an issue to rise at the time. Overall we look forward to returning when the hotel is finished.
